My first thought was someone broke a curved side window, couldn’t get replacement glass at a decent price, and decided to do this instead. But, it was done in the late ‘70s, when the Pacer was still coming off the line, so that wasn’t it. Maybe the owner just really liked the Pinto Cruising Wagon, but wanted something more reliable and less explosive?
